Hey, I’m Ryan Richardson, and I’m a tattoo artist based in Wooster, Ohio, working out of Studio Vitruvius Tattoo. I’ve been tattooing since 2011, and I specialize in black and grey realism—particularly portraits, landscapes, animals, pets, and anything with a horror, creepy, or spooky vibe. I always try to add my own unique twist to my work, trying to bring my clients’ ideas to life in a way that’s both personal and artistic. I'm a real life, down to earth dude who just loves what he does. 

 

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate enough to win over 40 awards at various tattoo conventions across the United States by traveling and working my ass off. My work has been featured in tattoo magazines and I've appeared in podcasts aimed on my career and personal life. These experiences have definitely helped me grow as an artist, but honestly I feel like tattooing is more than just creating a cool tattoo. It’s about the connection I build with my clients, the finished product, reaction and overall experience for both myself and you the client.  I do seriously value the trust everyone places in me and enjoy the relationships that develop through our sessions and time in the shop. 

 

 I love the challenge realism tattoos bring to the table for me. I'm constantly trying to up my game as an artist and have taken multiple courses and seminars in my own free time in order to learn different techniques and keep my skills sharp so I am able to deliver the best quality tattoo possible. I’d love to pick your brain to create something meaningful and unique that's designed to last the tests of time. In a nutshell shell, I love my job with all my heart and I take it, you, and my reputation as a tattooer..serious as fuck.
